HELPING. BUILDING. HEALING.
ECHO Village goes beyond providing community housing by offering a range of enriching programs that are tailored to enhance the lives of our residents even after they leave the program. We are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters growth and development. We invite you to join us and experience a brighter future.
A Little More About Our Village Services
ECHO Village is a distinctive housing development that endeavors to provide affordable homes for low-income residents, including homeless, first-time jail offenders, and veterans. Our community is thoughtfully designed to foster a sense of togetherness, with shared common grounds and a focus on community living. We strongly encourage residents to share their talents with one another, creating a supportive and enriching environment for all.
It is worth noting that while we are not a free community, we work closely with the Arkansas Department of Housing and Urban Development - Section 8 Housing, which is tailored to each individual's specific situation. Additionally, ECHO Village is proud to be a designated VIM (Volunteer in Mission ) site with United Methodist Church.
Christopher P. Epley - "Big Cat" Hospitality House
In September 2023, we inaugurated the Christopher P. Epley - "Big Cat"Hospitality House as a loving memorial to our beloved friend Christopher who was tragically killed in 2017. The facility boasts a spacious community kitchen, dining area, living area, laundry area, and bathroom, making it an ideal venue
for hosting events and gatherings for the residents. Furthermore, the upper level of the house offers temporary emergency shelter to provide a safe haven and accommodations for those in need.
Community Chicken Coop
Great news! Our community offers a chicken coop for our residents to use. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience the joys of raising chickens and enjoying fresh eggs. Come and check it out!
Community Garden
Our community garden program is a great opportunity for our residents to get involved in growing their own fresh produce. With a variety of vegetables herbs, and fruits available, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We encourage all of our residents to participate and take responsibility for their own garden plot.
15 Homes Completed
Our organization is committed to ensuring the well-being of our residents by providing them with a secure and comfortable short-term living space. We are pleased to announce that we are actively working towards our objective of having 26 homes available for our residents.
